Public Drug Company had been located in its original location since 1935 before a fire destroyed the building in May of 2009. After temporarily re-locating the store and purchasing a vacated downtown lot, the owners hired LPW to design a new facility. Resemblance to the original location, and keeping with the integrity of the brick work of the adjacent building was a priority as well as restoring the neon sign considered to be a downtown landmark. Functions include a full service pharmacy, retail space with camera shop, and supporting offices.
