Rachel Manning, NCIDQ

Sr. Interior Designer

I'm a South Dakota flatland girl living the Montana mountainous life. Although wandering from the Dakotas wasn't difficult, I've never had the desire to wander far from the architectural part of my life. I grew up in houses often under construction and my 'after school activity' consisted of marking up construction documents and delivering them to job sites.

Eventually, I was exposed to the phases prior to construction, where the purpose of the design emerges from the needs of the end user(s). The user experience is where I found great importance in the industry, which lead me to obtain a degree in Interior Design.

Interiors aren't where my passion for design ends though; You'll see the walls of my home filled with photography, the pages of my journals overloaded with inspirational quote sketches, and many of my possessions are handmade or upcycled DIYs.
