Buffalo Blanc
The owners of Buffalo Blanc approached the design of their building with a deep respect for its location adjacent to the Great Falls High School campus, a landmark known for its old-world sophistication and architectural character. As the school has long been a cornerstone of the community, the owners wanted the building to reflect that same era of ornate detail and enduring beauty.
LPW provided the structural framework and engineering that made this vision possible, allowing the owners to layer in design elements that brought the concept to life. Details such as flooring that echoes the terrazzo floors of the high school helped ground the design in its surroundings, while custom tile work, lighting, and architectural arches added warmth and character. Outside, additional brickwork, the revival of the original marquee lighting, and the inclusion of vintage gas pumps serve as thoughtful finishing touches—subtle nods to the building’s historic purpose of serving the school community.
The goal was to create a space that honors its past while standing strong for the future, and the owners believe the care and craftsmanship put into the project will allow it to serve the community for another hundred years.
