Architect I

My love of Architecture started when I was young; driving around town and looking at houses after church became my family’s Sunday routine. I grew up in Fargo, ND (no I haven’t seen the movie!) and around the Minnesota Lakes in the summer. I spent most of my childhood doing creative projects with my mom and a lot of time dancing. Upon graduation, I wanted to try something new and that led me to the University of Colorado, Boulder. I received my first design degree and I knew the architecture community was where I wanted to be. I worked for a few years in Boulder before moving to Seattle to earn my graduate degree. Upon graduation, I moved here to Great Falls to be with my husband.

My favorite part about architecture is that we can give back to the community in our own way by designing beautiful spaces for people. I love the nitty-gritty detailing from floor plans to construction detailing. There is a lot more to architecture than people realize, and I find that to be the most fulfilling part!

When I’m not in the office, I love baking, crafting, and spending time with my husband, our pets, and especially our son. Watching him grow and teaching him new things is one of the greatest joys of my life. The Air Force brought us to Montana, but we’ve come to really love Great Falls for its small-town feel and easy access to all things outdoors
